We’re looking for an engineering director to head up our main data infrastructure team who has expertise in data engineering and/or data infrastructure.
The ability of our organization to efficiently access, process, and analyze the massive amounts of data we generate each day depends on the work of the Data Infrastructure team. You will be in charge of developing and scaling trustworthy, cross-platform data pipelines and systems as a leader in this area, supporting crucial organizational functions like data science, business operations, and product development. Your teams’ main duty will be ensuring the dependability and stability of our data infrastructure.

Revitalize the Data Infrastructure division by addressing the issues and defining a clear, long-term technical vision for the group.
Analyze and update our data infrastructure utilizing cutting-edge technologies and architectures.
Establish trust by cooperating with the engineering managers, staff, and stakeholders of the group to ensure that the work is completed in accordance with the organization’s specifications.
Mentor your reporting management team to help them become data leaders and cultivate strong relationships with their stakeholders in order to make the most of the capabilities of our data infrastructure.
Make sure your team has the talent it needs so that senior data and software engineers can have a big impact on the engineering department as a whole.

In your prior managerial positions, you placed a high value on a supportive team environment and exercised compassionate leadership by putting others first.
knowledge of Kafka, Redshift, Flink, and Spark, as well as other data processing technologies.
ability to run a data mesh, build self-serve data platforms, and visualize massive data infrastructure.
understanding of how to implement data governance, quality assurance, and automation of management processes.
