In regards to this position:.
- Wells Fargo is looking for a Lead Software Engineer for the Digital Technology and Innovation group in order to support evolving digital platforms and better integrate the innovation pipeline into our customer-facing capabilities.
You will act in this capacity.
- responsible for major, intricate technology projects that have an impact on the entire business.
- Participate actively in the creation of standards and best practices that apply to the entire organization when developing complex and extensive technology solutions.
- Design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for projects and programs.
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technological solutions for tactical and strategic business goals, the enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that demand a thorough analysis of many variables, including intangibles or novel technical variables.
- Make decisions about the development of industry-wide norms and best practices for engineering and technology solutions that call for familiarity with current and upcoming technologies. You’ll also be in charge of leading the technology team to meet deadlines and advance new initiatives.
- Work with senior technology team members, important technical experts, and outside industry groups to solve complex technical problems and achieve goals.
- Take the initiative, manage teams, or serve as a peer mentor.
In the US, you must have:.
- 5+ years of equivalent experience in software engineering, as demonstrated by any one or a combination of the following: work experience, education, training, military experience, or any combination of these.
- HTML (HyperText Markup Language) expertise of five or more years.
- developing JavaScript for five years or more.
- Having used CSS for at least five years.
- a minimum of two years’ experience building enterprise web applications with Redux and React JS.
- working knowledge of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1, or both.
The following are desired qualifications.
- Having used the SDL Tridion content management system for at least a year.
- a strong background in React Front End Development, including Node JS, WebPack, and other tools.
- a degree in technology or science at least at the BS/BA level.
- the ability to partner and collaborate with other functional and business areas.
- understanding and expertise in web and application security.
- knowledge of technology performance, including application tuning and analysis.
- understanding of how to set up and use Windows or Mac OS X for React JS development.
- Understanding of unit testing tools like JEST, Enzyme, Jasmine, Mocha, and Chai as well as the React Testing Library.
