• Amazon seeks a Systems Program Manager to manage configuration, act as an SME on system capabilities, and manage customer support as the primary point of contact for a third-party cloud-based construction management software.

•  The Systems Program Manager will be in charge of directing and leading international initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the world’s construction industry. Establishing system mechanisms that enable teams to consistently deliver in line with predetermined standards on a global scale, managing system standards and improvements for users on a global scale, auditing the team’s metrics to find and address trends or problems, and supporting the adoption of new technology that enables greater efficiency throughout the construction management life cycle are all part of this.

 Essential job responsibilities.

• Overseeing the new and current system configuration of a third-party construction management software while providing worldwide support to all system users, internal and external.
• Acting as a subject-matter expert (SME) for the features of the construction management software.
• carrying out system and procedure updates in coordination with international teams.
• Using team metrics to identify process bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements.
• Working closely and fruitfully with the maker of the third-party software to manage performance overall, including the discovery, communication, documentation, application, and correction of system-related issues.
• deciding the extent and overseeing the application of feature upgrades or additions.
• Serving as the main point of contact and taking on responsibility for ongoing system functionality and implementation.
• Making policies for the system, managing them, and reporting on compliance.
• Creating and promoting large-scale, corporate-wide technical innovations and answers to complex business problems.
• Motivating and influencing others and systems to carry out the goals and objectives of the teams.
• Promoting continuous development and gathering best practices after launch.
• Monitoring user satisfaction and adoption rates following implementation and training.

 BASICAL PRESCRIPTIONS.

• 7 years or more of professional experience in a field involving projects, programs, or products.
• 7+ years of experience using both local and remote methods in various countries while acting as a SME and main point of contact for a global system.
• 7+ years of experience using design and construction management software tools, as well as project or workflow management software.
• 7+ years of experience with the entire lifecycle of a software launch (startup, configuration, testing, user training, roll-out), or significant experience with particular stages of the lifecycle.
• 7+ years of experience working with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, justify thoughtful decisions, and develop long-term strategy.

 Chosen credentials.

• Ten or more years of experience working in a tech-related environment.
• Ten years or more of experience working with standard construction file formats and procedures, including design drawings, submittals, and information requests.
• 10+ years of experience designing and/or building mission-critical environments, like data centers.
• 10+ years of experience working in a demanding corporate environment with teams outside of direct reporting chains.
• Meets or exceeds the criteria outlined by Amazon’s leadership principles for this position.
• For this role, satisfies or surpasses the functional/technical depth and complexity standards established by Amazon.
