 Principal duties:.

 Operations Research.

•  The Operations Analytics team provides stakeholders with up-to-date and important data-driven insights to support the management of an airline that is more focused on the needs of its passengers and reliable.

 Duties of the position are described.

The business stakeholders and the product development team primarily communicate with one another through the business analyst (BA). The BA collects vital information from stakeholders, such as problems and solutions, leads ongoing reviews of business processes, develops optimized strategies, hosts meetings and presentations to exchange ideas and come to a consensus, develops specific product requirements and user stories, evaluates design solutions before and during development, notifies the business stakeholders of changes and timelines, supports EQA, UAT, and deployment process, and performs. be in charge of a team of programmers and administrative staff. Possibly aid in the creation of fresh procedures and training plans. while adhering to an agile process, documenting and reporting to stakeholders and other leaders.

•  evaluates business processes, foresees needs, identifies areas for improvement, and creates functional specifications and user stories.
•  develops optimized strategies and leads ongoing reviews of business processes.
•  explains plans and insights to the leadership and members of the cross-functional team.
•  UAT Plans are created, and acceptance testing, including EQA, is facilitated.
•  produces useful presentations and reports by gathering important information from meetings.
•  gives leadership, instruction, mentorship, and direction to less experienced employees.

 Qualifications.

What is required to succeed (Minimum Requirements):.

•  a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field is required.
•  Experience in business analysis or a related field of at least three years.
•  exceptionally strong conceptual and analytical thinking abilities.
•  influencing partners and collaborating closely with them to find solutions.
•  advanced technical abilities.
•  Very good at keeping records.
•  proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs (i. e. as well as at least one database management system, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
•  excellent verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
•  Extremely well-organized, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities.
•  30 percent of the time spent traveling must be domestic.
•  To meet the requirements for the job, the interview must be completed successfully.
•  An essential job requirement is consistent, on-time attendance.
•  To work in the US for any employer without sponsorship, one must have the proper legal authorization.

What will set you apart from the competition (Preferred Qualifications):.

•  MBA or a master’s degree.
•  expertise in process engineering, airline industry, and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
•  Utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills, the capacity to adapt to changing priorities, requirements, and deadlines.
•  understanding of system analysis and process mapping.

*NOTE: This position is based in Chicago, Illinois at the CSC-Willis Tower building and is a hybrid role that requires 2-3 days of office work.
