• As the manager of the Ads Product team, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the lives of millions of individuals and small businesses.

•  About 15 talented ads PMs, ranging in experience from mid-level to senior ICs and GPMs, make up the Ads Product team at the moment. They are dispersed across North America and Europe. We require a leader to set the product strategy for the main ad offering and to direct the monetization strategy going forward. This role also includes managing our product portfolios for syndication and retargeting. It also includes leading our ad bidding and pacing strategies, ad targeting products, and full page optimization strategies.

 You’ll perform:.

•  The creation, mentoring, and coaching of a world-class team of advertising product managers.
•  Utilize some of Yelp’s key systems, including bidding and pacing, ad targeting, etc. creating the product strategy.
•  Work together to implement the vision and take action by communicating with the executive team to share information about upcoming plans.
•  Work with the directors of other orgs from Biz Ops, Product, Engineering, and GTM to develop corporate strategies and link goals to ad roadmaps.
•  To help your team grow, promote new educational and employment opportunities.
•  Working together with divisions like finance and HR to manage a budget, headcount, and compensation policies will help to ensure the team is ready for success.

 The following is required for success.

•  10+ years of experience in marketing or advertising products.
•  five or more years of management experience, ideally with group product managers.
•  a commitment to Yelp and our objective of matching customers with excellent local businesses.
•  demonstrated ability to understand highly technical products, as well as a history of iteration and net new development to produce significant business results. understanding of developing a supportive, responsible, and collaborative culture.
•  Amounts of experience at which design leaders have been developed.
•  From a room full of data scientists to the Customer Success organization, you can work and communicate effectively with a variety of people in a variety of settings with equal success and impact.
•  Excellent ownership: You look for problems, focus on fixes, and use the proper level of procedure to do so.
