Wells Fargo is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Wealth Investment Management Technology (WIMT) Platform Services team. You will implement SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) practices as a Senior Software Engineer and deliver enterprise capabilities that improve the overall stability and availability of applications within the Wealth and Investment business lines. You’ll work with a group of software engineers who take great joy in coming up with creative answers to challenging issues that have far-reaching implications for change.

 In this situation, you will.

•  Lead initiatives and deliverables that are only moderately complex in technical domain environments.
•  Participate actively in the process of planning the strategy.
•  Projects and programs in the technology domain include upgrades and deployments in the design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation phases.
•  Examine technical problems of a moderately difficult level that necessitate a thorough examination of the tools and techniques at hand.
•  Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet the needs of current clients or potential new clients by using a thorough understanding of the role, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
•  Work with peers, coworkers, and mid-level managers to overcome technical challenges and achieve goals.
•  managing a project, acting as a point of contact, and advising and guiding less experienced employees.

 The qualifications needed are.

•  4+ years of equivalent experience in software engineering, as demonstrated by any one of the following—employment, education, training, and/or military service—or by a combination of these.
•  Experience in both product management and product development of at least one year.
•  a two-year plus track record of setting up Linux and Unix environments and automating build-deploy procedures.
•  RESTful Application Program Interfaces (API) have been created and used for at least two years.
•  working with cloud technologies for more than two years.
•  at least two years of experience in Java or Python.
•  at least one year of experience using Kubernetes.

 The following credentials are necessary.

•  A minimum of one year’s experience in the development or support of IT Service Management solutions (e. g. Asset management, change management, incident management, and configuration management).
•  possess at least a year’s worth of experience with both the Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
•  at least one year’s worth of experience in RPA development.
•  understanding of managing systems across different platforms.
•  One or more of the requirements may be Java, DotNET, Python, API Calls, reverse proxy, or process automation expertise.
•  understanding of installing, updating, and migrating WAS.
•  understanding of the installation, configuration, and upkeep of APACHE and IBM HTTP servers.
•  a working knowledge of LDAP and database configuration.
•  Ansible experience, a tool for automation.
•  having knowledge of Artifactory, GitHub, XMLSpy, Jenkins, or any other source code repository.
•  having familiarity with tools for observability and monitoring such as Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, New Relic, DataDog, Kafka, CloudWatch, Jaeger, Zipkin, Big Panda, Splunk, TrueSight, JAWS, and Prometheus.
•  A minimum of one of the testing frameworks listed below, including JMeter, Perfecto, Cucumber, Gherkin, ALM, Gremlin, Chaos Monkey, Chaos Toolkit, Simian Army, Toxi Proxy, and Selenium, should be known to you.
•  a working knowledge of at least one of the following platforms and OSs: AWS, PCF, PKS, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, Azure, Windows, and VMware.
•  Knowledge of one or more additional skills, such as Capacity Management, Robotic Processing, Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) Frameworks, and AIOps (Moogsoft, BigPanda, UIpath).
