The Enterprise Identity team is responsible for driving the strategy and implementation of global authentication (AuthN) and authorization (AuthZ) systems across American Express applications for consumers, merchants, and consumers. API.

Minimum Qualifications:

You have at least 3 years of experience working on a Scrum team using agile methods for software delivery.
You have good technical and communication skills to explain and present solutions to difficult problems. You have at least 6 years of software development experience using Java or a similar programming language.
Have a strong working knowledge of programming based on things like Java/J2EE and frameworks like Spring Boot. You are an expert in building, testing, fixing and debugging a large production process.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field.

Required Skills –

Experience in the following areas is a plus:

API implementation using methods such as REST, RPC (gRPC and similar), Services (AWS Lambda).
Online public authentication and authorization models using JWT, OAuth and OpenID. Golang development.
Project experience with large and complex databases: traditional stores or point of value. Relational and non-relational databases Oracle, DB2, Postgres, Casandra and mongo.
