What to Expect
The Process Technician is responsible for understanding and improving processes to ensure the adherence to production control 5T processes and the successful execution of projects. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and demands flexibility to support PC Engineering, Quality, and NPI. The Process Technician for the 5T team serves as the primary contact for layout changes in production control warehouses, signage modifications, and the execution of lineside part presentations, including pallet footprints, wire/conduit installations, and signs.

  • Support the production control organization in executing layouts for production control warehouses and supermarkets for parts storage
    Provide daily updates and changes to signage and floor taping for production control
  • Install conduits and wires for lineside part presentation, dolly staging, and warehouse part storage
  • Experiment with new methods/processes for 5T projects and provide feedback to Engineers
  • Support lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives throughout the factory, contributing to the closure of projects
  • Lead major program warehouse execution projects onsite and offsite.
  • Ability to read CAD layouts with complex dimensions for floor taping and signage installation
  • Maintain 5T supplies inventory for audits, ensuring levels remain above safety stock

What You’ll Bring

  • Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access, etc.)
  • Proven ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing process
  • Proficient with the use of various hand and portable power tools
    Ability to operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, EPJs, forklifts, and other PIVs as necessary
  • Capability to read and interpret CAD drawings and electrical schematics.
