We are expanding our team within Amazon Operations! If you are interested in working in a company where you can have fun, achieve great results and put a smile on people’s faces, this could be the perfect role for you.
As an Operations Specialist you supervise shift management in one of our collection centers (‘first mile fulfillment centers’), sorting centers (‘middle mile sortation centers’) or delivery stations (‘final mile delivery stations’). Our Operations Specialists direct our on-site operations and play an important role in winning our customers’ orders at every step of the logistics chain.
This is a varied, complex role and every day is different!

Your Responsibilities…
– Creating and maintaining a safe workplace by identifying opportunities for safety throughout the work area;
– Supervising and training our employees to provide the best service to our customers;
– Ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled in accordance with quality and safety guidelines;
– Continuously providing information regarding the shifts to frontline management and operators;
– Adjusting the distribution of work across departments to meet and exceed plans and forecasts;
– Collaborate with support functions or other departments to address common issues or needs in key performance areas, e.g. process area readiness, 5S, safety, training;
– Contributing to finding solutions in the field of logistics and the production chain through data analysis, innovation and process optimization.

Possesses strong communication skills, demonstrates a high sense of responsibility, leads by example in all areas of performance and has the ability to develop expertise across all operational processes. You must be able to work with data, motivate employees to achieve the best, but above all have the ability to put the customer at the center of every decision you make.
