Product Manager Responsibilities

• • • Based on the Chase insurance vision build clear roadmap for our products after going through scoping (sizing & prioritising) activities ensuring optimal fit between product features/effort/value against the competitive landscape in the local market.
    • Ensure a thorough understanding of customer needs, behaviours and pain points in conjunction with insurance competitive landscape and best practices by local market.
    • Incorporate data, research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps.
    • Understand Chase bank’s strategic and competitive position and work closely with insurance leads to deliver innovative customer centric products aligned with global principles, competitive in local markets and that are recognized as best in the industry.
    • Lead and motivate the team of talented engineers and other cross-functional representatives to deliver the customer centric and compliant insurance products.
    • Incorporate user needs, business needs, and technical constraints/opportunities into the product development process.
    • Communicate clearly and proactively to squads and various stakeholders from different disciplines. Ensure team morale and productivity is optimal for the complexity/scope in hand. Provide options for decision making and eventually make decisions independently as/when required by understanding the overall domain context.

Skills & Capabilities

• • Digital product management experience at a high performing UK/EU bank or insuretech or insurance firm and proven track record of growing strong consumer products at scale
  • Proven experience in insurance product journeys and customer experience, with a good understanding of UK/EU consumer insurance buying behaviours and patterns
  • Experience of going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple, conflicting priorities and deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Experience working in an agile environment, and driving projects with cross-functional colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in retail insurance products (car, home, travel, pet, gadget, Life ins)

Knowledge of the UK/EU insurance legal, regulatory & conduct risk setting is preferred
