Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Candidates will typically have 2 years of experience in sales, client relationship management.
Experience in the startup ecosystem.
Experience managing multiple projects and customer onboarding processes.
Experience in promoting Cloud technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

Typically 2 years of experience in customer success, or account management in the Cloud industry.
Typically 2 years of experience in the startup ecosystem as a founder or c-level executive.
Ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.
Ability to speak credibly about platform and Infrastructure-as-a-Service with founders and CTOs.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.

About the job

In this role, you will help identify customer issues, respond to enquiries and partner across the startup territory Field Sales Representative (FSR), startup named FSR and scale up sales teams to ensure customers achieve their business objectives. You will be responsible for receiving and triaging leads in a timely manner to ensure that the customer is well managed based on their requirements, onboarding customers to the programme.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver compelling narratives that accelerate adoption of cloud solutions through partnering with Customer Engineers, Product teams, and the extended Sales team.
Develop and refine the Google Cloud message to startups, collaborating closely with cloud business development and marketing team.
Drive community engagement across multiple channels including university spin-outs, developer communities, attendance at industry events, accelerators and incubators.
Onboard high-potential early to mid-stage startups to the Google for startups cloud program.
Lead engagement, nurture, and drive growth of the startups by identifying new cloud workload opportunities.
