We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian for the night shift to join our facilities management team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas of our premises are consistently cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This role requires a proactive individual who is detail-oriented and capable of working independently during overnight hours.

Custodian (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in various areas such as offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Manage and dispose of waste materials according to company guidelines and local regulations.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and report any shortages or maintenance needs.
  • Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and floor waxing as required.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in accordance with established health and safety standards.
  • Report any facility maintenance issues or safety hazards to the facility manager.
  • Provide exceptional service and support to both internal staff and external clients, addressing any concerns or special cleaning requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures.

Custodian (Night Shift)

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a custodial role or similar field is advantageous.
  • Experience with night shift or late hours is preferred but not required.

Working Hours:

  • Night shift from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
