As a Business Analyst in Production Planning at Amazon, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective production processes within our vast network. You will be responsible for analyzing production data, forecasting needs, and developing strategies to optimize our production planning and execution. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze production data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and implement production planning strategies to optimize workflow and reduce bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with various departments, including logistics, supply chain, and operations, to ensure seamless production processes.
• Forecast production needs based on historical data, market trends, and business objectives.
• Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet changing demands and minimize downtime.
• Utilize advanced analytics tools and software to enhance production planning capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and Amazon internal policies.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide training and support to team members on production planning processes and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience:
