Position Overview:
Stop and Shop is seeking a dynamic Assistant Facility Manager who will play a pivotal role in maintaining our facilities to the highest standards of excellence. You will work closely with the Facility Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our properties, uphold safety and cleanliness standards, and create a welcoming environment for our customers and employees.

Facility Maintenance: Collaborate with the Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of our properties. This includes, but is not limited to, managing repairs, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring a safe and well-kept environment.

Team Support: Assist in the supervision of the facility maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all facilities adhere to safety regulations and guidelines. Conduct safety audits, implement necessary changes, and communicate safety protocols to all team members.

Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair services. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and manage budgets for facility-related expenses.
