Facility Maintenance: Collaborate with the Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of our properties. This includes, but is not limited to, managing repairs, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring a safe and well-kept environment.
Team Support: Assist in the supervision of the facility maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all facilities adhere to safety regulations and guidelines. Conduct safety audits, implement necessary changes, and communicate safety protocols to all team members.
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair services. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and manage budgets for facility-related expenses.
Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment required for facility maintenance. Ensure timely procurement and cost-effective management of resources.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on facility operations and performance, highlighting areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in facility management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of facility maintenance and safety standards.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in budget management.
Knowledge of local regulations and building codes.
Bachelor degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
