As an Amazon Warehouse Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fulfillment center. You will be responsible for managing the flow of goods through the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products efficiently and accurately. This role demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving Shipments: Unload deliveries, inspect items for damage, and verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders.
• Inventory Management: Organize and store products in designated areas, ensuring that inventory is tracked accurately and that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack products according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Shipping: Prepare and label packages for shipment, using appropriate methods to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members and supervisors to meet and exceed operational targets and performance metrics.
• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed, following proper safety procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, with a focus on safety and proper lifting techniques.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and technology.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
