Responsibilities

Patient Communication: Communicate with patients via phone, email, or video calls to schedule appointments, answer questions, and provide follow-up instructions.
Medical Documentation: Accurately document patient information, medical histories, and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Medical Knowledge: Understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and common healthcare practices.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), telehealth platforms, and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
Customer Service: A patient-centered approach with strong empathy, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive situations.

Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in data entry, scheduling, and record-keeping.

Experience: Previous experience as a medical assistant, patient care coordinator, or in a related healthcare role is required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant training program or certification is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and telehealth regulations.
Experience working in a virtual healthcare setting.

Bilingual proficiency, depending on patient demographics, is a plus.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $30.00 – $44.00/hour.
