Key Responsibilities

• Unloading Merchandise: Efficiently unload delivery trucks and ensure that merchandise is handled with care.
• Stock Organization: Sort and organize stock in the backroom to facilitate easy access and efficient stocking.
• Stocking Shelves: Replenish shelves with new merchandise and ensure that products are displayed neatly and accurately.
• Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and help maintain accurate records of stock levels.
• Store Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the backroom and sales floor.
• Customer Assistance: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with locating products and answering questions.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accurate stocking and organization.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and take direction from supervisors.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills to assist customers effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
• Experience with inventory management and stocking is a plus.
