BHSI has an exciting opportunity for an Underwriter to form an integral part of our Construction Property team in Berkshire Hathaway Customer Support Jobs In UK
You will be working very closely with underwriters in the UK, across Europe and internationally as well as with our claims, actuarial and operations teams. Character is of the utmost importance as are relationship building and negotiation skills.
Good data and file management skills are also naturally a requirement of the role. Underwrite and grow the construction book of business profitably within the BHSI risk appetite Contribute towards the further development of construction underwriting at BHSI both in the UK and globally Up to 10 years insurance market experience across CAR, EAR and Civil Works Experience and strong understanding of policy wording and broker manuscripts Good understanding of natural catastrophe peril modelling and pricing for multi-year construction policies Willing to travel on business as required A competitive package and exciting growth opportunities for career-oriented teammates Berkshire Hathaway Customer Support Jobs In UK .
