This role will closely collaborate with Senior Management and Business Lines to enhance financial reporting and provide financial insight for decision-making and strategy. This senior position will be part of a finance group that includes certified financial analysts and accountants who work both on- and off-shore.
A quick-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment will be the new employee’s new home. The EMEA CIB Finance Manager will be the position’s direct supervisor.
Responsibilities:.
- Support the lines of business and senior management financially as part of the yearly strategic planning and monthly financial review processes.
- Utilizing metrics and key performance indicators, provide an insightful analysis of the financial results.
- Working with functional and line of business teams will enhance cost analysis and decision-making.
- Work on the budget and forecast in line with the group’s strategic objectives.
- Ensure that the processes you own for finance are subject to efficient controls and documentation.
- Engage internal stakeholders in the development of financial plans that abide by legal standards for capital, liquidity, and other elements.
- As required, take part in projects involving multiple departments in business finance.
Experience or abilities necessary:.
- experienced professional with many years of post-qualification experience as an accountant or financial analyst.
- Experience and product knowledge in banking or financial services.
- outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with senior executive management.
- Identifying potential financial risks, coming up with solutions, and lowering those risks are all possible with the help of strategic thinking.
- able to handle stakeholders.
- a working knowledge of financial planning and analysis techniques, forecasting, and cost modeling techniques.
