We need a Senior Leader to help us achieve our goals of mass producing stunning and impactful imagery. Historically, when purchasing a home, consumers have preferred to “see, touch, and feel” the product in person. Wayfair breaks this stereotype by introducing a brand-new realm of visual immersion that aims to not only match but also top the in-person shopping experience. Our talented creative team, made up of supervisors, technologists, stylists, and 3D artists, will produce a large number of eye-catching interior and product images in a way that has never been done before.
•  The Visualization Associate Director will be in charge of more than 60 asset artists, lighters, stylists, and art managers, so they need to have previous experience managing a technical, quick-thinking, production-focused 3D team. In addition to inspiring and encouraging artists to create outstanding artwork, we’re looking for someone who can conceptualize and carry out technical work flows, such as headcount planning, goal adaptations, and performance management. This leader’s ability to inspire the team and help it adapt to changing business needs will be crucial. We anticipate that this leader will establish challenging goals and benchmarks that gradually improve capability, output, and quality. The best candidates will be highly motivated, accustomed to change, and able to establish strict priorities as the needs of the business change.

 You’ll perform the following.

•  With the director of creative imagery, collaborate on the department’s short- and long-term road maps.
•  Control the output of the 3D team, including establishing the framework, practices, and standards for new asset creation and technological advancements.
•  Develop technologies for creating motion and real-time images, and organize their development.
•  To develop and implement time and money saving tools and software, collaborate closely with the internal tech art team.
•  Together with creative directors, ensure that we are always getting better and that deadlines and budgets are always met while maintaining high standards of quality.
•  Establish priorities, manage them, and go above and beyond delivery targets in collaboration with business stakeholders.
•  Find management talent, develop it, and mentor others.

 What You’ll Need Is.

•  understanding of other DCCs, 3DS Max, and V-ray.
•  a thorough understanding of technical matters and how custom tools speed up results.
•  powerful presentation and management abilities.
•  large teams of technically skilled 3D artists for more than 7 years.
•  Ability to guide teams in their work, including setting priorities and coming up with creative solutions to complex problems.
•  able to establish connections within the organization at all levels.
