Full Job Description:

A data engineer is responsible for organizing structured and unstructured data, maintaining data quality, and developing and supporting data products. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in all data entry and analytics! We need experience using Python as an ETL tool. A data engineer plays a key role in Agile initiatives, providing guidance and direction, and monitoring emerging technologies.

Your role:

Design, code, test, debug and write programs and scripts using agreed standards and tools to achieve well-designed results.
Get a critical, in-house data management plan that supports the development and secure operation of existing and new digital information and services.
Plan for effective data protection, storage, distribution and publication within the organization
Collects and processes raw, structured, semi-structured and unstructured data using batch and real-time data processing.
Improves data quality and implements tools and processes to improve the identification of data quality issues
Engage with internal and external data providers in data support by providing feedback and making custom changes to data entry and data classification.
Consultant and lead data engineers provide technical guidance and oversight
Provides ongoing support, monitoring and maintenance of delivered products

Eligibility:

Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL and Vertica. Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus
Strong experience in data processing, data access and data storage systems
Experience in design, development and implementation of extensive, advanced software and hardware systems, source of truth systems for various business sectors, development and maintenance of web services in an agile environment.
Experience working with the Kafka Streaming layer
Experience with Spark Framework and batch and real-time data processing is a plus
Experience with large data collection and analysis is a plus
Experience in supply chain and data logistics is a plus
