CONTEXT:.

For all of Star Network’s channels in the UK, Europe, and South Africa, the incumbent will be in charge of pitching our advertising solutions to media companies and marketers. This is a job that brings in money. In order to increase revenue from each of these accounts through the sale of commercial time and branded solutions, the incumbent of the position will be responsible for developing relationships with a predetermined group of significant strategic accounts and identifying new ones.

Principal responsibilities include:.

 Strategic or policy-focused KRAs.

  •  Discover all the details about the product, such as its benefits, positioning, content, etc. used to increase the pitch’s impact and efficacy.
  •  Obtain a thorough understanding of the markets/categories served as well as the specific marketing challenges each client company is facing.
  •  Build a strong network, engage in conversation, and forge relationships with people at all levels within client and agency organizations in order to comprehend market trends, have firsthand knowledge of upcoming campaigns, and maximize revenue.
  •  Create a thought partnership by thoroughly comprehending the client and agency organizations, their marketing needs, campaign efficiency metrics, etc.
  •  Make a strategy to generate the most revenue for your accounts in order to meet the given targets.
  •  acquiring new clients in Europe, the non-TV sector, the UK (outside of London), and the UK.
  •  Key client management: Developing and executing original sales concepts and deals in collaboration with the brand solutions team.

 Operations, procedures, and technology-related KRAs.

  •  Create, negotiate, and close deals that maximize Star’s price and market share while fulfilling the marketing objectives and demands of the clients and the agency.
  •  By identifying the competitors’ (sales strategy, programs, and clients) weaknesses, you can develop strategies to increase your market share.
  •  Work closely with operations and marketing while assuming full responsibility for deal execution, client care, and campaign post-evaluations.
  •  Act as an “Account Manager” rather than a “Seller” by offering specialized account management to establish and maintain strong, enduring relationships with key accounts. “.
  •  Be thorough in your process management; be quick, nimble, and adaptable in your management strategy for all internal and external stakeholders.
