•  The entry-level hourly rate is $16.55. There will be continuous pay increases for the next 10.5 years.
•  Ramp Customer Service Representatives will be assigned shifts that range from 20 to 40 hours per week. You’ll have to stand, walk, stoop, and bend as part of your job. Work in cramped areas, stacking and loading bags, and spending a lot of time on your knees in airplane bins are examples of repetitive tasks. Sometimes it will be necessary to complete these tasks in unfavorable weather conditions (heat, rain, or snow, to name a few).

 Summary of responsibilities (not all tasks are listed here):.

•  Lift, load, unload, and transport luggage, mail, and cargo safely to and from aircraft in addition to being in charge of ensuring on-time connections by directing approaching and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
•  Protect cargo, mail, and luggage from weather, theft, and damage.
•  driving and controlling ground vehicles, such as tow tractors, belt loaders, and tugs, safely in crowded areas.
•  Lift and reload luggage carts several times to ensure that each bag is delivered to its intended location.
•  Use baggage scanners and computers to ensure that cargo and baggage are properly routed to the passenger’s destination.

 What You Need to Succeed, Minimum Requirements.
