Main functions:

As the Director of Vulnerability and Asset Management at United Airlines, you will protect our airline and its customers by identifying, investigating, remediating and reporting vulnerabilities. Our mission is to take a proactive, risk-based approach to identifying and remediating vulnerabilities to protect United’s systems, networks and data from cyber attacks.

Lead a team of analysts (liaison and senior) who are responsible for providing advice and helping the tools and resources team to fix vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
Access and manage vulnerability metrics and remediation-related dashboards and reports
Acquire and manage vulnerability assessment tools and vendor relationships

What it takes to pass (minimum requirements):

Bachelor in STEM
At least seven years of hands-on experience in design, implementation and management of corporate vulnerabilities, or five years of experience with a master’s degree.
3+ years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and frameworks such as NIST, MITER, ATT&CK Framework and OWASP Top 10
Previous experience owning and managing one or more analytical technologies (DAST, SAST, continuous monitoring, etc.)
Previous experience in reporting vulnerabilities in control systems or tools
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be a self-starter
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills, focused and organized approach, excellent communication, open interpersonal skills.
Legal authorization to work in the United States should be given to anyone who works without a permit
Successful completion of the interview is required to meet professional qualifications
A reliable and timely presence is an important function of the position

Master’s degree
Leadership experience is highly valued
CVA, CEH, Security+, CISSP or other relevant certification
Previous experience in vendor management
Previous experience with vulnerability exposure and bug bounty programs
Previous experience in systems development or administration
