- We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Midmarket Sales, to remotely manage a team of Regional Directors who actively supervise Midmarket Sales Directors in all areas, from prospecting, pitching, and closing new business to generating additional revenue from existing Midmarket accounts. The Senior Director, Midmarket Sales, must have a history of developing and coaching leaders while navigating a changing organization.

You’ll act as follows.
- Your area of responsibility will include the most significant Midmarket accounts.
- A team of regional sales directors will be under your supervision as they develop effective sales strategies, and you will act as their mentor. These tactics will include the use of multi-tiered approaches, expanding one’s network of contacts, defining quantifiable success metrics, developing successful campaigns, navigating attribution discussions, recognizing and averting risks, and accurately forecasting opportunities.
- You will coach leaders in the areas of activity, metrics, coaching, and generating income from post-sale and new business accounts.
- You can achieve and surpass your sales team’s quarterly quotas by holding your team accountable for actions that lead to revenue generation.
- You will keep management informed of team activities, opportunities, and risks on a regular basis.
- You will put into practice strategic planning, forecasting, and ongoing training for leaders and the corresponding sales teams.
- The efficiency, procedure, and productivity in every area will increase.
- You will build and maintain relationships with executives to support sales activities.
- You will work with your team to complete complex, multimillion-dollar programs.
In order to succeed, you need to:.
- At least five years have passed since you took charge of a group of leaders.
- You’ve worked in relevant Enterprise and/or Midmarket environments for more than 10 years in sales roles in the digital and advertising industries.
- You produce more than $30M in revenue annually.
- You have a track record of exceeding sales targets by millions of dollars.
- You are a skilled communicator with a track record of executive outreach success.
- As a businessperson, you have knowledge of starting partnerships from scratch.
- You are capable of handling both client escalated issues and crucial rep-to-rep conversations.
- You have the skills necessary to influence desired outcomes for all parties while navigating uncertainty.
- Because you believe in Yelp’s mission, you naturally put the business and team first.
- Between 30 and 50 percent of the time, you can travel.
- You’ve demonstrated a track record of productive teamwork and internal cooperation. You have a calm demeanor and are unhurried.
